What are my payment options?
We currently accept two forms of payment. The first option is self pay or private pay. These services include personal care services, homemaker services and respite care and more. We offer afforadable packages or individual plans to our clients in need. It's our goal to sit down with you to determine a budget and how frequently you would like to receive services. We require pre-payment for all new clients. Our second option is the Medicaid Waiver, which is a government funded insurance for certain individuals that are aging and/or individuals living with a disability. If a client is eligible for the Medicaid Waiver, I.M.E. will bill the State of Indiana directly for payment for services rendered. Some client's require a cost-share. Please read below for prequalifications for employment: -Must have eligibility to work in U.S. -Must complete application -Must be at least 18 years of age -Must have valid Negative TB test -Must pass National Background check -Must pass Office of Inspector General Exclusion List check -Must have internet connected mobile phone for use of application or mobile device to make voice calls. -Must have reliable transportation, along with proof of registration, proof of vehicle insurance, and valid unexpired driver's operate license. -Previous employment history -Reference check -Must successfully complete our PCA training We also conduct ongoing checks on current employees to ensure that they continue to meet our high standards for quality assurance. Yes, we provide services for veterans, including personal care assistance, respite care, and support for independent living.
What are the benefits of having I.M.E. as my care provider?
We pride ourselves in the work we do. We believe in our mission and vision to provide quality care to all clients and their families. Being a caregiver or caring for a loved one can be rewarding but we understand and empathize with the challenegs and exhaustion that may occur. We offer short- term relief (i.e. few hours, several days, or weeks) for primary care givers. Respite care allows the family to take breaks comfortably and be confident in knowing they can recharge and their loved ones are cared for by our qualified caregivers in their absence. We offer 24/7 hour support to our clients and their families. We strive to increase the quality of life to all individuals we serve.
Can I be compensated to take care of my loved one?
Yes, of course. Here at I.M.E. we encourage loved ones to contact us directly for more information about how to be compensated for caring for their loved one. If your loved one qualifies for the Medicaid Waiver, you can be compensated to help them. Family caregivers are able to create flexible schedules here at I.M.E. During the in-home observation we will develop a schedule that works best for the family. Family members can opt to work full-time, part-time, days, evenings or weekends.
